August 8, 2019: Rotarians heard from Dorothea Graham with the Haralson County Extension Office.
Dorothea brought students to give testimonials to the wonderful programs offered by 4-H and they also shared about their experiences at District and State competitions.
We all come from different backgrounds and experiences.
We must learn to respect and understand all the people of the world in order for our civilization to live in peace and harmony. I learned you must stop living the Loser Laws and start living the real Laws of Life.
One well know description for respect is the "Golden Rule".
The Golden Rule states, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Understanding that all people have values as human beings is something that more people in our world should understand.
The laws of life aren't written laws created by a government or dictator.
They are simply words or statements that societies and individual people create for other people to live by. After the law was passed, there began to be a rapid spread of states adopting the Three Strikes law. To understand the consequences of Three Strike law, it is important to know the purpose for states adopting the law and particulars about Three Strikes law.
